Back in 2014, Sally and I decided we needed to learn more about Chilean wine. So naturally, we flew to Santiago, rented a car…and promptly got lost.  Eventually, we found our first winery: Ventisquero. And when we walked in, there stood the winemaker who had been at WineTastic **the week before.

 We had traveled more than 4,000 miles to Chile…only to run into someone we had just seen in Dallas! And that’s where my love affair with Ventisquero began. I’ve been a fan for more than a decade, and it’s now one of the wineries I always include on my Chilean wine tours.
